I never did finish the rest of the AX series, did I? Well, my internet has been acting up, so I’ve understandably had some trouble getting any posting done. I suppose this picture also sums things up:

We actually had to talk Jesus into posing for that photo. He expressed that he’d like to show some respect. Being the heathens that we are, we assured him that since his costume was already blasphemous that he may as well go all out, because either way he was going to hell.
After feeling a little too confined wandering with my sister and her boyfriend, I met up with some friends of mine and their friends on day three while cosplaying as Edea from Final Fantasy VIII and hung with them for a while. I took a picture with one of the guys who was dressed up as Pip from Hellsing, but I think it’s on his camera. Lame, I know. I’ll see if I can get a copy from him later. I met up with them again that night and we went to the mech presentation. My friends were all drunk, so it was interesting to say the least.
Day four was uneventful, and we actually left early because we all crashed suddenly and got cranky. I got some photos from the FF gathering, though. Surprisingly, there weren’t many bad costumes. There was a pretty good Basch and a super cute mandragora thing, plus a fairly impressive Rude and a few good Clouds.

I loved this cosplayer. Everything they did was right. They did a good job on the outfit, they walked around taking tiny baby steps, and their mannerisms were adorable. He or she stayed in character the entire time, and it was just lovely.

Not so lovely…. Not the Aeris/Aerith. Her costume was decent. Her hair needs some work, but it was a hot day, and I’m not going to nitpick. I’m talking about whatever is behind her.

Here’s some wtfery for you here. This shot just made me laugh.
Well, that’s it for Anime Expo 2008. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
